Oh No Barry Neglets His Blog!
Hello! It is I, Baar. Baar is sorry that he has neglected his blog the last couple of days. Baar now no longer has to go in his crate when Emily and Joe go to work each day. Baar used to come up with ideas for his blog in his crate. But do not worry, Baar loves not being in his crate but will do better with his blog.
On Thursday Baar went to the dog park. Baar met some pugs that were so much fun! They loved Baar and played with him. Baar chased them and they were not afraid! It was so exciting! Baar loves it when dogs play run with him. Here is one of Baar's new friends.
On Friday night Emily and Baar went for a walk and found a kitten in the neighbors yard. Baar was so excited! Emily brought the kitten inside and Baar thought that he finally had his own kitty to play with! Baar was so happy and so curious about the kitten. It was sad because the kitten was very sick. Emily explained to Baar that sometimes people don't take good care of their animals. Sometimes they don't even take them to the vet and get them changed so that they don't have lots of babies that don't have homes waiting. It makes Baar said when animals are treated badly and not taken care of.
The kitten was so small and hungry and her eyes were stuck shut withlots of gunk. The inside parts of her eyes were so infected that they were sticking out. Emily and Joe cleaned the gunk out out but the kitten was still to sick to play with Baar. The kitten was sneezing, way to thin and had a wound on her leg. Baar and Emily took her to the Euclid Veterinary Hospital and got her medicine. Then we went shopping at PetSmart and a rescue organization called "Love a Stray" (Micki's dad an mom adopted cats from them last year) agreed to take Faith with them since they had a litter of kittens with the same problems. Poor kitties.
Baar wanted the kitten to stay and play with him. Baar has looked in her crate over and over again but she's not there. So sad. Emily wanted Baar to tell you that "Love a Stray" has 32 kittens now that need homes. If you can help, please visit their website at http://www.petfinder.org/shelters/OH207.html. Baar hears they need canned kitten food also.
Emily told Baar that her and Joe are going to trap the neighboorhood kitties that are roaming and that are having kittens. They are going to have the all spayed and neutered so that there will be no more sick sick kittens without homes.
Baar still wishes he could have kept his kitten though.
