Come Baar is Hard!

Hello! It is I Baar. This weekend Emily, Joe and I spent a lot of time practicing getting me to come when I'm outside. This so far is one of the hardest things that Baar must master (and master quickly because we all want to go back to the dog park). It is very hard. Baar is busy and doesn't want to pay attention. Emily and Joe are using the horn thing Karen gave them but it's not making much noise (could be the weather). Treats help a little but Emily and Joe probably need to use the ubar snacks for a while. Baar is of course very smart and is making progress but it is VERY slow going.

Baar got to visit with Micki this weekend! Baar loves Micki. She is so fun! We played in the house because it was super muddy and wet outside. Baar and Micki had to stop because Emily's mom was afraid one of us would slip on the hardwood floors and get hurt. Pah - Baar would not get hurt! Here is a picture of Micki and Baar. Emily complains that it is tough to get a good picture of Micki since she is so dark. Emily told Baar to sit and he did right away, impressing Emily's mom. She now thinks Baar is so smart!

Baar also helped Emily run errands. We washed Joe's car which was a little scary but Baar is so brave! Baar went for walks and tried to chase a kitty outside. Baar really needs to work on getting along with kitties but Emily is too protective of Enid and Ezra to let Baar learn. This is a problem since we are at a stalemate on this particular issue.

Baar has made such amazing progress in being comfortable with Joe. Baar even cried when Joe went upstairs this weekend! Baar now seems to like it best when Emily, Joe and Baar are all together.
