Mentor on the Lake

Hello! It is I, Baar. Baar went on an exciting trip to Mentor on the Lake last night. At least thinks it was Mentor on the Lake. Emily got lost and drove to Perry on our way there. Silly Emily. But Baar likes riding in the car so it was fun anyway. Joe came with us to. Baar was so happy to take a ride in the car and go so far!

We went to Emily the Basset Hounds house. Here is a picture of Emily. Baar thinks she is quite striking in her bandana. Baar was sad because for some reason Emily had to stay in the backyard with her brothers rather then visiting with Baar. Baar thinks that maybe it was because it was a weeknight. Emily the person said that sometimes you can't play as much as you want on weeknights.

Baar did get to spend time with Melanie and her people family. It was fun. Everyone loved Baar especially Melanie's dad. Him spent lots of time petting Baar and Baar gave him with Paw. Baar got some yummy milk bones. Emily told them that Baar didn't like them because Baar usually spits them out but ha ha - Baar ate two right up!

Baar also met a new friend named Butterscotch. Baar and Scotch played in her backyard. It was fun but Baar thinks she might have been a little intimidated by him. Scotch kept running over to her dad. Baar had lots of fun and is sorry that Emily forgot her camera.

Baar had such a busy night that him didn't want to take his bedtime walk. Emily and Baar went anyway and then Baar fell right asleep.
