The Window - Enid Speaks

Dear Readers

It has been some time since I last posted. I have been quite busy with my plans for ridding Enid's House of SD (stupid dog) and of course eventual world domination. I've also been quite brave and have visited the downstairs when SD has been elsewhere. See how brave I am looking out from behind a the curtain?

It came to my attention recently that SD gets to go outside and I don't. This is completely unacceptable. I tried to discuss it with the one who is not Joe but for she just kept petting me and giving me treats and new toys. Sigh. Well I am very soft and irresistable. I would want to shower me gifts as well.

So, being the genious that I am, I devised a plan. I enlisted Ezra's help and we managed to tear a cat sized space in the screen (that's right SD - only cats can fit) that would allow us access to our new balcony (aka the roof). The balcony does need some work but Joe would add a bird feeder and add some plants, perhaps a few cat beds... Plus this location allows us access to the outdoors at will - something Stupid Dog does not have.

Unfortunately my plans were foilded by the one who is not Joe yet again. She somehow noticed the cat exit to the balcony last night and shut the window! She is now threatening to have the screen "repaired". I showed her several times last night by putting my paws on the window and meowing that I desired access to the balcony but she refused and went to sleep.

But do not fear dear readers there are 4 more windows and the one who is not Joe hates being hot. I will prevail in the end.
